Conrad Schumacher is one of the world's most treasured figures in dressage.  Over the years, his tutelage brought success to German, Dutch, British, and USA, teams, and over 4000 horse/rider combinations.  For auditors, his communication style of clarity and finesse is an invaluable learning experience as well.

At the 1996 Olympics, Mr. Schumacher coached two riders from the Netherlands to a Team Silver Medal and one to an individual Bronze medal.  He was the official trainer of the British team in 1998 Equestrian Games and the coach of the British Dressage Team at 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.  For over 10 years he was the USDF Advanced Young Rider/Junior Rider clinician and on multiple occasions has led the USDF Trainers Conference.

The cornerstone of Conrad's training philosophy is the emphasis on the rider's physical and mental awareness to create maximum harmony with the horse.  His focus on rider's mental fitness has formed through the years, first as a rider then as a coach, trainer, and judge.  His development of the horse through the foundation of the scales of training produces a relaxed and willing partner for the rider.  The result is the correct execution of movements throughout the levels and the rise of his students to the international Olympic and the World Championship levels.
